Bens new haircut.

Today Ben had his second hair cut in three years. I kept putting off getting him a hair cut because he had curly hair and I thought that maybe the curls could be cut of, but he needed a hair cut, and he had his hair cut and he still has his curls. He looks so cute I should have done it sooner.

He didn't have too much cut off mainly just a trim.

Its been a while

Its been awhile since my last post I didn't realise it was so long. Not been up to much but I joined face book and boy is that addictive. Trying to find school friends I cant remember any of their names and only know their maiden names. My son David bought himself a Wii and that is addictive as well and a whole lot of fun. My husband and I sneak into his room when he's out and play bowling. I tell you what I've done my shoulder and my hip playing on that thing. Its quite dangerous lol. Ben wants to join in on the fun so we give him an old controller and he thinks he's playing too.

Happy birthday Ben

Yesterday was Ben's third birthday. I cant believe how fast the time has gone. We didn't have a party for him this year, we had family visit at lunch time and had a party at tea time with just us, of course we had his favourite party food which was pizza.

Today it is blowing a gale outside, we even had some hail I think its going to be the same tomorrow, last Saturday it was 24, shorts weather, in one week you can get all the seasons. I hope everyone has a great week and I hope to get some scrapping done.

Beautiful weather

Hi, the weather just lately has been beautiful its 22 today short t-shirt weather nearly. We had a few colds in our house lately and now have seemed to got over the worse of them now. My middle son David hit the top of his finger at work and was home for two days last week, its OK just very badly bruised. He also came 2nd in his football teams best and fairest for the B grade. We had a lovely fathers day which was also my 23rd wedding anniversary.

Few layouts to share

I have a couple of layouts to share with you one is a layout that I did from a designing memories kit a couple of kits back. I like doing bright colours every now and then.

The next one is a Scrapbook Station, Kate Mason kit that i bought back in Jan 2007 I started it then lost a bit of interest, but on the weekend I decided to finish it. It is very pretty shabby chic.

Long time no post

Well I've been feeling a bit lousy the last week with a blocked nose and a touch of a head cold, but now I'm feeling better.The weathers been very wet nearly everyday some rain, which is a good thing in a drought, but not good being house bound with sickness. Here are some of my latest layouts.

I am on the look out for a new camera and I'm not sure whether to buy a top end digital or a lower price SLR so if any one can give me some advice on cameras I would be grateful as I know nothing about cameras and need all the help I can get.

Have a good week, I'm not too sure what to do next but I did buy some chatterbox papers with some little trees on them, but I might wait till we get some sunshine to use them.

Last few days

We've had a bit of sickness in our house over the weekend, my middle son David has had a cold for the last week and doesn't seem to be able to shake it, and over the weekend Ben must have caught his cold as well. Ben's been not too bad during the day but night time comes his head gets a bit warm and has a bit of a cough, he goes to bed earlier than normal, but he's very restless during the night and wakes up every few hours. Since I'm constantly coughed on I'm just waiting for my turn.
They had a fire engine at playgroup today, they showed us the truck, had a bit of a talk about fire safety, the kids all seemed to enjoy it especially when they showed us the hose and turned on the water, which sprayed for about one mile. It started raining and everyone ducked for cover.

You don't realise just how big these trucks really are.

Ben climbed into the front of the truck, sat down on the front seat and wasn't planing to move, we finally managed to get him to move.
