Never been so cold

Hi, the weather has been so cold I don't think I've ever been so cold. I must be getting old lol. I much prefer the warmer weather.
Last night I was getting Ben's bath ready and he was in his room very quiet (I should had suspected something was not right), I could hear him giggling (2nd sign ) I then went to get him and this is what I found. He had found his powder and tipped the bottle all over him and the floor and was using his beach toys to scoop it all. There was powder every where and the powder smell was so strong it was a wonder he could breath.

Lucky it was only powder and not his bubble bath.

Quick post

Hi, I hope every one is ok and not too many colds, I'm lucky so far I have not had a cold yet, fingers crossed. I thought I would do a quick post, we've not been up to much this last week, its been a bit cold but the last couple of days have been a bit sunny especially today.

Just been doing the normal household things, house work, shopping and trips to the park. I have one layout to share, I'm working on one at the moment and hope to share soon.

Shopping and online class

A trip to my local supermarket is a nightmare as we enter through the doors into the arcade Ben runs right up to the toy claw machine he wants a shot even though he cant see over the top. As I pry him away he comes across a bouncing ball slot machine which he desperately needs one, then there is the dreaded not one but three different sizes gum ball machines. ahhhh!!!

I finally get him into the supermarket this is what they put right near the entrance, baskets of toy Hot Wheels cars. He runs right up to them searching for the one he want if its not on the bottom he climbs to the top.

I finally finish my shopping then I have to walk past all these machines again at lease they haven't got any rides there yet!!

They must sell zillions of these toy cars lol

I did my first online class yesterday at my lss. I really enjoyed it, it was good doing it at home these computers are amazing I couldn't live with out my laptop. This is the layout that I did, it also comes in a girl layout with lots of pink. All the papers are distressed on the edges it looks grungy if that's the right word to use.

Today.....

Well I'm quite pleased with myself today, I went to McDonald's for a play date and catch up with a friend and I didn't buy myself anything to eat. That was a big effort for me because once I smell the food I usually give in, but all I had was coffee. I came home made myself a sandwich and an apple.

I haven't been up to much this last week its been so cold and rainy most of the week that we stayed home. Being school holidays there was no playgroup so we've been pretty much house bound.

I finished one layout using the Pink Paislee papers and have a couple more ideas using the rest. I got this idea from their blog site. Once again it is very similar to the others I did last week. The pictures were taken when we went to the River Torrens and took some photo's under the rotunda. I tried to cover up my behind with a journaling spot I keep telling Scott "take photo's of me looking thin". Will have some more layouts to show during the week and I'm doing my first online lesson with Scrapbook Station my lss tomorrow. Have a great week.

Dont Ask

Well my diet was going well, then as they say I fell off the wagon. I don't know what happened it must have been the cold weather but I started having a bit extra food then a biscuit, then cake then what the heck and I ate anything I could get my hands on. Don't worry I haven't given up I've just had an obstacle to get over and now I'm back on track, it just might take a bit longer than I hoped but I'm still determined to get into bathers this summer.

Boy its been cold here in Adelaide, yesterday was the coldest day in three years it was only 8 degrees during the day, plus it rained all day. Todays cold and windy not a very good day for layout shots but I gave it ago any way before they blew across the cement. lol

One is a holiday page about our trip to Port Vincent in Febuary. I used shells that we collected at the beach and some muslin. I have a thing about fabric at the moment. The other is about Ben pretending he's off to work.

I also have been tagged by Jodi I have to mention 7 blogs that I enjoy reading. I will think about this and leave my list in the next couple of days.

Its very strange doing a summer layout when its freezing cold.



I didn't realise it at the time when I did these layouts that they are the same design. I did them on different days not thinking about the other one.

This week its been raining and cold brrrrr. I thought I would share my latest layout plus some I've been working on for a while and finally finished.
I have just found the Pink Paislee web site and just love it, my next layouts hopefully will be Pink Paislee.
